Article Page
The article template displays a single blog post with its featured image, content, and optional comments section.
Default Layout
The article page includes:
- Featured image — Full-width or contained hero image at the top
- Article info — Title, author, date, and tags
- Content — The full article body with rich text formatting
- Comments — Optional comment section (if enabled in Shopify admin)
Blocks

Comments
If blog comments are enabled in your Shopify admin (Settings > Blog > Comments), the article page displays:
- Existing comments with author name and date
- A comment submission form with name, email, and message fields
- Form validation and success/error messages
Structured Data
The article page automatically outputs Article JSON-LD structured data for search engines, including headline, author, date published, and featured image.
Tips
- Write articles using Shopify’s rich text editor for full formatting support.
- Add tags to articles to enable filtering on the blog listing page.
- Featured images should be at least 1200px wide for best quality.
