Templates

Templates control the layout of specific page types in your store. Use them when you need to configure the product page, collection pages, search, cart, editorial pages, or support content.

Storefront Templates

Home page

Configure the storefront landing page with hero, shoppable media, product links, carousels, editorial sections, FAQ, and campaign content.

Product

Configure product media, variants, swatches, size guide, selling plans, app blocks, buy buttons, recommendations, and structured data.

Template Workflow

  1. Open the template in the theme editor top bar.
  2. Preview a real resource that uses the template.
  3. Configure global settings before tuning individual sections.
  4. Add or reorder sections for the customer workflow.
  5. Assign custom templates from Shopify admin when different products, collections, or pages need different layouts.
  6. Test desktop, mobile, and the main customer action for that template.
